As we continue our journey on infographics, we delve into the deep dark world of creating infographics.
So, creating an infographic isn’t as hard as you think. There are lots of tools available which help you to create them, even if you aren’t a graphic designer.
Infographics are a great way of making hard to understand information interesting to readers so that it is much easier to digest. Aside from presenting the information, they play an extremely important part in increasing your visual marketing content.
We take a look at three tools which are available on the web to help you build the perfect infographic for your website.
Canva is by far one of the best options around. Not only can you create an interesting infographic but it’s free to use (unless you want to pick some of the more expensive images available).
This tool is free to use as suggested above, and there is no need to download anything when using Canva. You can create a log in and use the tool online via its easy to use website or you can download an app and use it directly on your phone – this is becoming an increasingly popular option for people on the go.
Our final point about Canva is that it’s easy to download onto any device and offers you the option to share directly with your contacts via multimedia messaging, social media and e-mail – it also allows you to resize any images to fit onto your specified platforms.
Picktochart is a great way to create a story using your infographic. With easy to use templates, you can choose from a library of over 600 professionally designed infographic designs which you can personalise with your own information.
Piktochart and Canva are very similar tools when it comes to creating an infographic and this particular tool also allows you to easily share your designs on social media. There are some free designs which you can use however, as with Canva, some you do have to pay for.
Infogram is a great tool for business owners to get their hands on. It is similar to the above tools with one main difference. You can share your work online for free by embedding it into a website/blog or by sharing the URL link via social media or email.
When you create an account you will have 10 spaces in our project library and in templeate, you will only be able to create projects with 1-2 pages on the basic plan. However, the basic plan is free to use forever you will probably find yourself wanting to invest in some of the cost tools available.
This is extremely easy to use and offers step by step guides online to get you started.
