If you’re looking to revamp your Instagram profile and bring your highlights in line with your branding, which gives your profile a great edge, there’s easy ways to update them without spamming your stories with your pictures!
Many people edit their highlight covers by uploading a new image to their stories which can spam your daily feed and look messy and unprofessional. There is a really easy way to adjust your highlight covers in line with images you have designed that may be more suitable for your brand or work in line with seasons and changes.
How to adjust your highlight covers
- Save all your new cover images to your phone (if you work on a MAC, you can airdrop these straight to your phone) ensure you have worked with the correct dimensions but you will be able to adjust these as necessary in Instagram itself.
- Head into your instagram page and profile and hold down on your existing highlight to bring up the menu, you’ll want to click ‘Edit Highlight’.
- At the top it will say ‘Edit Cover’ so here you’ll want to go into your photo stream on your phone and chose your photo cover here.
- By going into your ‘edit cover’ and choosing the image here rather than having to upload it to the story originally, it removes the need for it to spam and interrupt your feeds.
- You can then update these at any point in the same way without anyone noticing (apart from on the page itself!)
So if you’re looking to get your covers in shape and on brand, ensure you do it inconspicuously with these easy tips! It’s important to keep your Instagram feed looking it’s best and just little adjustments like this can make the difference for professionalism and how your brand comes across!
