According to Hootsuite, 71 per cent of Twitter users are using the platform to read about the news – so, we advise using this platform to share all of the good news you accumulate as and when its relevant.
Another statistic from the site shows that 75 per cent of B2B businesses market on Twitter, showing this is a more formal platform to showcase your business and network.
Sprout social also suggests that Instagram continues to attract a younger audience with 72 per cent of teens saying that they use the platform. This is an impressive increase from 2015 when 52 per cent of teens said that they used the platform. This is a great statistic to consider because then you can plan your day around a University lifestyle, working late night shifts in bars etc.
Businesses are turning to Instagram for its increasing popularity – according to Oberlo, 71 per cent of businesses claim that they use Instagram for business purposes.
Along side the statistic above Oberlo also suggests that 83 per cent of Instagrammers say they discover new products and services on Instagram and with its use of pictures we think it’s a great way to showcase who you are and your personality.
Some further Sproutsocial knowledge confirms that in 2018, LinkedIn performs 277 per cent better than Facebook and Twitter when it comes to generating visitor-to-lead conversions.
