Creating social media content can become a little tedious if you aren’t able to afford the right tools to create the most amazing pictures and videos. However, there are tools out there that can make social media content exciting again. You don’t need to have the best camera equipment either!
Here are three tools that we have chosen that will make your social media journey much more colourful.
We love Canva – which is the main reason why we are putting it at the top, and we love it for so many reasons.
You can upload your own pictures and add text to them, you can use stock images for free, they have created hundreds of templates which can be used to create bright and eye-catching content.
It seems like its too good to be true – we know – but it gets even better. Have you ever struggled resizing an image to fit each of your social media image size specification? Facebook, Twitter and Instagram all have different sizes to fit cover photos, profile pictures, content posts and header images. Canva has a good go at making sure you can create your content for free in different sizes to meet the needs of our ever-growing social media platforms.
A big one for Instragram users, Snapseed ensures you can create a beautiful gallery that has the same filter on.
The reason it is good to use the same filter on each of your Instagram gallery photographs is to ensure that your pictures sit perfectly next to each other and don’t look out of place.
Pictures come with different visuals and colour but having the same filter over your pictures will create a sense of continuity and make your feed look beautiful.
We know Instagram already has it’s own filtering tools but Snapseed has more variety and can give classier, less harsh tones to your pictures.
Spark Video by Adobe
In 2017 statistics were released that suggested online video accounts for more than 80 per cent of consumer internet traffic and with such a big chunk of the social media market you need to get on the band wagon.
Spark Video is an app that can help you create engaging video content so that you don’t miss out on those tech savvy customers you may have otherwise missed.
This is a free tool and has great functionality. You can create a pre-built theme with their stock moving images, completely add your own video’s or even use a mixture of both!
The editing software may be basic, but it is enough for what you need to offer on social media and will definitely help to get your audience engaged.
This tool is also relatively simple to use but if your do need guidance there are lots of Youtube videos out there to guide you through each process.
Our 4th social media tool is Venngage. Now we have only recently come across this content generating tool, however it is one of the only easy to use infographic makers out there – perfect not just for social media but also for web content in general. Venngage allows you to create pretty easy infographics in 3 easy steps, without the need for fancy design software. Give it a go here – https://venngage.com
