Who are the client
EQ Awards, originally known as AOFA Qualifications, are an awarding organisation, recognised and regulated by Ofqual. They provide First Aid, Health and Safety, and Security Qualifications across the UK.
What was their requirement
EQ Awards came to us requesting a whole new company rebrand. Some of the specific requirements included producing a fresh look with a new logo design and a more engaging website. This included bringing through more up to date and fresh content. EQ Awards were encouraging automation so their users could easily access and download any forms from their website without having to call through to EQ Awards direct. To ensure this happened, we updated their website forms to editable pdfs. This allowed anyone who visited their site to complete the required form from their computer at home, and email it over to EQ Awards. The client knew this was a more efficient process that didn’t requirement a printer or delivery service and would save them a lot of time.
What was our solution?
The new website used a responsive design. This means it automatically adapts between a desktop format and a mobile phone format. Their web design’s navigation was more efficient, providing a clearer structure between each qualification course they offer. Additional pages were added to their site to ensure a consistent feed of up to date news and content. These changes resulted in a more SEO friendly website. This is because the site is set up to encourage a consistent engagement rate through the use of blogs. We also improved key SEO aspects including page titles and meta descriptions. Overall, the company’s branding had a complete refresh resulting in a more modern and engaging design.
