Who is the client?
VanMate is a new product from MJ Products, a company based in Leicestershire. It is a portable and configurable handling solution that can lift up to 250kg in and out of goods vehicles. What makes VanMate special is the ability to solve a number of problems within one clever design.
The primary issue in handling large goods in and out of vans is doing it safely. Insurance premiums for delivery operations is on the increase and claims paid for injuries is rising. VanMate offers a base product and a range of accessories that means it can safely lift and handle a huge range of products from oil drums to washing machines.
What was their requirement?
To help launch this new product to the market, we were recommended as a supplier for a new website. The brief was fairly simple – to ensure that VanMate is presented in the best possible light and that the technical information about the product is displayed clearly and concisely.
We set to work on a number of wireframe designs that would showcase the product set, whilst keeping the theme of the MJ Products branding visible. A key part of the website is the ‘Build your VanMate’ section. This gives browsers the ability to customise their VanMate to their own specifications.
What was our solution?
We worked with the sales team on the technical specification and sales literature to ensure the tone of voice and key messaging was clear and concise. We created a customised solution that displays the full product set to end users in a logical way. The outcome is a friendly and professional website that provides a platform for growth.
