Who is the client
xsign is a designer, manufacturer and installer of signage systems in the UK and overseas. We began working together on a project to redesign the website in 2018. The brief was to design a website that reflected the culture of the company and that demonstrated the capability and flair the company has for working with architects and contractors. On completion of the website, we entered in to a partnership to deliver marketing services, including SEO growth in organic rankings to improve visibility on Google and to increase website traffic.
What was their requirement
Before the new website was in place, xsign were receiving very little website traffic. The old website wasn’t mobile responsive and wasn’t built on a content management system. We moved the website on to WordPress, to create a structure that allowed for the ability to add more content over time. We highlighted a number of target keywords and put a plan in place to deliver content to the website on a weekly basis, through case study production, blog writing and revamping the content for existing services.
What was our solution?
At the beginning of the project, xsign was receiving between 200-300 website visits per month, with just 4 tracked keywords in the top 10 Google search positions. Through regular content posting, blog writing and creating updated product and service content, the website is now consistently gaining 8000+ website visitors per month through mixed channels, with over 100 tracked keywords in the top 10 Google positions. The website is acting as a brochure for xsign’s products and services and is also an e-commerce platform for some specialist sign types.
